Another Unjust War
Ever since I was in my early teens I felt a strong distrust of Israel. I could not understand why our our country leaned over backward to tiny Israel. A small country of eight or nine million people that seemed to exert an extraordinary amount of influence over United States policies. It didn’t make any sense to me. Of course there was WWII and the suffering of the Jewish people but we were not responsible for that atrocity. Little did I realize or understand the the reasons for the rise of Jewish control of so many different aspects of the United States. The push to destroy Iran has been conducted by Netanyahu for 40 years using the same rhetoric over and over again. He and his people have believed in the concept of greater Israel which involves taking over great swathes of land and the lands of several sovereign countries. What Israel has done in Gaza is a crime against humanity. That our country supports this evil genocide is deeply disturbing. Enough of pandering to Israel and lets learn to be a peaceful country.
The fact that our so called leaders, Trump and henchmen & women have launched us into war against Iran is beyond disgusting. The cheerleader for the worst genocide in generations finally got what he thought he wanted. Netanyahu made it his mission to pressure the US into war against Iran. The horrible excuse for a human being whom Trump calls one of the greatest men in the world is responsible for an absolute horror perpetrated against the Palestinian people and now the people of Iran. In addition he is responsible for the suffering brought down upon his own people by the Iranian retaliation to his and Trumps attacks. Perhaps by the end of this war there will be no more Israel. There is also very likely to be a major economic disaster rippling across the world and probable catastrophic effects in the US. If Israel ceased to be a country there would be no tears for many of us. I am sick of the way the US government has for all my life placed Israel on a special pedestal and allowed the Israeli lobby, AIPAC free reign over the US congress. Even RFK Jr. made reference to Israel as an important beachhead in the middle east implying that perhaps at some point we could land troops there and launch a military action against some unnamed Islamic neighbor country.
Yes, I do feel bad for Jewish people who are suffering as well but the actions of their government have for a long time made it clear that it is not capable of rational and humanitarian behavior. There are a good many of us who voted for the president who assured us he was going to be our peace president. It is crushing to see how this has all devolved as now we in the US seem more like the the worlds leading terror regime. Do as we say or get bombed is what it has become. Why do you think we never threaten nuclear armed countries like Pakistan or North Korea? Iran did nothing to us and entered negotiations with the US in an attempt to avert hostilities. The notion that they were going to develop a nuclear weapon and perhaps use it on Israel is ridiculous. If they were ever crazy enough to do such a thing they would face almost instant total destruction. Besides, why should Israel be allowed to have nukes? Considering all the death and destruction they have caused I would consider Israel to be a dangerous country. From what I have read they even went so far as to steal nuclear secrets from the US. Does that not affirm that they cannot be trusted? But, are we in the US any better, we engage in talks with Iranian diplomats in an apparent attempt to find a peaceful solution and what do we do? Launch an attack while talks are underway. We have also walked away from the START nuclear treaty with Russia.
Are there good people in America? Of course there are, just precious few in the halls of government. Our leaders are awash in hubris seeing US exceptionalism everywhere. There is an astonishing lack of honesty and transparency in government. However, there are good people everywhere who just want to live their lives in peace and harmony. I’m not sure what the answer is to righting the floundering ship USA but I know it has nothing to do with electing (selecting) a few good people and bringing in the democrats. If we simply bring in the democrats not much will change. Oh sure at some point Trump will be out of the picture but the underlying corruption and sick activities present in our government will not be flushed out so easily. A peaceful way to downsize a vastly top heavy government needs to be found. Less government is better. Perhaps its time for a constitutional conference that would include a broad spectrum of people from all across the country. In this age we are staring head long into a rapidly developing technocratic state. Are we going to sleepwalk into the technocratic masters 15 minute cities and digital money, CBDC’s. The time to resist is now, not after the gates have gone up and the locks set.
